Apple TV+ comedy series The Studio has already won nine Emmy Awards at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 6, putting it in a strong position ahead of the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 7.
The show, a satire about Hollywood filmmaking, earned praise for its writing, cast, and technical work. Its wins include Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Bryan Cranston, who played a struggling studio executive.
The Studio also won in several technical categories, including Outstanding Casting, Music Supervision, Sound Mixing, Picture Editing, Sound Editing, Contemporary Costumes, Cinematography, and Production Design.
The series stars Seth Rogen as a studio head, with Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, and Ike Barinholtz in key roles. Critics have praised the show for mixing sharp humor with commentary on the film industry.
With nine awards already secured, The Studio is seen as a leading contender for top categories at the main ceremony, including Outstanding Comedy Series, where it will compete against Hacks and The Bear.
