Brandon Sklenar, star of It Ends With Us, has publicly supported his co-star Blake Lively after she accused fellow actor and director Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and a smear campaign.
On Wednesday, Sklenar shared Livelyโs sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios on his Instagram story, urging his followers to read it.
He captioned the post, โFor the love of God read this,โ and tagged Lively with a heart emoji. Sklenar portrayed Atlas Corrigan, Livelyโs characterโs childhood sweetheart, in the film.
Sklenarโs support adds to the growing list of celebrities backing Lively, including Colleen Hoover (author of It Ends With Us), Amber Heard, director Paul Feig, and more.
In response to the allegations, Sony Pictures, the distributor of It Ends With Us, released a statement reaffirming their support for Lively.
They condemned any reputational attacks on her, stating, โAny such attacks have no place in our business or in a civil society.โ
SAG-AFTRA, the actors’ union, also voiced its support, calling the allegations โstartling and troublingโ.
They praised Livelyโs courage in speaking out about retaliation and harassment, highlighting her request for an intimacy coordinator for all scenes involving nudity or sexual content to ensure a safer working environment.
In the wake of these allegations, Justin Baldoni was dropped by WME, the talent agency that also represents Lively.
