Despite a 20% drop from the previous day, Thunderbolts showed strong audience retention and kept its momentum intact, reaffirming the power of superhero films.

Sinners

Warner Bros.’ Sinners held the second position with $5.7 million over the weekend. The film has now earned $214.4 million domestically after 24 days.

Although it saw a 35% decline from the previous weekend, it remains a significant player in the box office, particularly appealing to fans of its genre.

A Minecraft Movie

The Minecraft adaptation continues to be a favorite for family audiences, adding $2.5 million to its total this weekend.

Its domestic earnings now stand at an impressive $409 million after 38 days in theaters, showcasing the lasting appeal of video game-based movies.

Other Notable Films

The Accountant 2 earned $1.8 million, bringing its total earnings to $50.9 million after 17 days. Meanwhile, Clown in a Cornfield, a new horror release, debuted in fifth place with $788,544, indicating a moderate interest from horror fans.

Additional films like Until Dawn, Shadow Force, and Fight or Flight saw more modest earnings, with each grossing between $450,000 and $555,000.
