Adult content creator Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is being held by police in Bali after officers raided her so-called “Bang Bus” tour on December 5. Police say the group was producing pornographic material, which is illegal under Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws. Her passport has been seized, and authorities say deportation is likely.
Blue, 26, was arrested with 17 male tourists at a rented house in Kuta during Bali’s busy Schoolies week. Police say she had been using a customized bus to film explicit content with young tourists. Videos on social media showed her approaching men outside clubs and beaches, offering drinks and small gifts to join her tour.
Evidence Seized in the Raid
Badung Police carried out the raid after receiving reports of illegal activity at the property. Officers say they found:
- Cameras and lighting equipment
- Condoms, lubricant, and Viagra pills
- Nine flash drives believed to hold recorded footage
- Uniform-style costumes labeled “School Bonnie Blue”
- Temporary tattoos used in the tour
Police Chief Arif Batubara said the items suggest the group planned to produce and distribute pornographic content. Under Indonesian law, this can lead to up to six years in prison and fines of more than $100,000.
Most of the 17 detained men were released on Friday after questioning, but three remain in custody, including two British nationals and an Australian man linked to Blue’s team. All have been barred from leaving Indonesia.
Who Is Bonnie Blue?
Bonnie Blue is known for high-profile sexual stunts on OnlyFans and social media. She drew global attention in 2024 after claiming she slept with 1,000 men in a 12-hour event in Sydney. Australian authorities later banned her from entering the country.
She had been promoting the Bali leg of her tour online for weeks, encouraging “barely legal” participants to join during the Schoolies party season. Critics accused her of exploiting young men and harming Bali’s reputation as a family-friendly destination.
Legal Process Underway
Police say Blue is still being questioned and that investigators are analyzing the recovered flash drives. Indonesian immigration officials have taken her passport, calling it a standard step to prevent suspects from leaving the country.
If authorities decide to deport her, she could receive a long-term or permanent ban from Indonesia. The three male detainees could also face fines or deportation depending on their roles.
Social Media Reaction and Local Response
News of the arrest spread quickly online, with hashtags such as #BonnieBlueBali and #BangBusBusted trending worldwide. Reactions have been mixed, with some users criticizing Blue and others questioning the severity of Indonesia’s laws.
Local officials have defended the raid. Bali’s tourism minister said the island will not tolerate activities that violate local values or damage its image. Advocacy groups have also welcomed the crackdown.
Blue’s social media accounts have gone quiet since the arrest, and no statements have been released by her team.
Police say they expect to make progress in the investigation in the coming days.
