BLACKPINK’s Choreographer: BTS’ V Inspired Me to Work Harder

BTS' V

LeeJung Lee, a famous choreographer who has worked with BLACKPINK and TWICE, recently opened up about how working with BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) inspired her deeply.

The dancer and Street Woman Fighter star called V her “true role model” and said their collaboration gave her fresh energy and motivation.

In an interview in Seoul on July 24, Lee shared that although V is not a professional dancer, his passion for dance and hard work amazed her. “He loves dance just as much as I do,” she said.

“Even though he has to sing and do many other things, he works harder than I do and stays humble. Watching him makes me feel like I can’t afford to make compromises.”

Lee added that this inspired her to push herself even more in her career. Their recent dance challenge videos, which went viral, showed the great connection and synergy between them. Fans are now eagerly hoping for more collaborations after V’s military discharge.

Lee also talked about her participation in Mnet’s World Championship and her work choreographing for the animated Netflix film K-pop: Demon Hunters.

Through her journey, Lee says she realizes how dance is not just a job but a passion that connects people deeply. Meeting V has helped her see her art and profession in a new light.
