ASICS, Vandy the Pink, and atmos are bringing sneakerheads a treat just in time for summer with the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “Banana Split” pack, officially dropping globally on May 30.
Featuring two colorways — “Strawberry Cream” and “Ivory/Pineapple Juice” (aka “Banana”) — the pack takes inspiration from the classic diner banana split dessert.
Originally previewed in April, the “Banana” pair first dropped exclusively at atmoscon, but now both the Banana and Strawberry editions are releasing worldwide via Vandy the Pink and atmos. Fans can also sign up for early access through Vandy’s site to boost their chances of securing a pair.
The sneakers are anything but subtle. Bright flavor-inspired colorways are paired with metallic silver overlays, visible GEL cushioning, and two-tone midsoles.
Each pair includes two lace options — standard rope or fuzzy circular laces — along with chocolate brown accents, co-branded insoles, and Vandy’s flower logo on the heel. Even the shoebox is customized to match the dessert theme.
Retail pricing has yet to be confirmed, but with the unique design and limited availability, demand is expected to be high. Sneaker fans looking to sweeten their summer rotation will want to be ready on May 30.
