Bad Bunny has hit 116.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, overtaking Taylor Swift’s 116.2 million. This marks the sixth-highest monthly listener peak ever on the platform.

The Puerto Rican superstar first crossed 100 million monthly listeners in February 2026, becoming the first Latin artist to do so. His numbers surged after performing at Super Bowl LX on February 8, which drew 128.2 million viewers – the fourth-largest halftime audience in history.

His track DtMF (DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS) broke records for single-day streams by a Spanish-language song, hitting 16.52 million. It also held the global Spotify top spot for 34 days straight, with daily peaks of over 7.4 million streams.

In 2025, Bad Bunny was Spotify’s most-streamed global artist for the fourth time, racking up 19.8 billion streams. His album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS topped global charts, continuing his dominance in reggaeton and Latin trap.

Currently, Bruno Mars leads Spotify monthly listeners at around 129 million, followed by The Weeknd near 118–119 million. Bad Bunny sits strong at third in real-time counts, with numbers still rising.

He joins Taylor Swift as one of the few artists to reach 100 billion total streams, 100 million monthly listeners, and 100 million followers on Spotify. His success highlights the growing global reach of Latin music.

Bad Bunny’s record-breaking rise confirms his status as one of the world’s biggest streaming stars.
