Bad Bunny Explains Why He Won’t Tour the U.S. in 2025

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny announced that his 2025 “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour” will not include any concerts in the continental United States.

He said this decision is because U.S. fans have had many chances to see him perform in recent years. Instead, he will focus his tour on Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Bad Bunny will hold a special 30-date residency in Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, called “No me quiero ir de aquí” from July to September 2025. This residency ties closely to the themes of his latest album, which celebrate Puerto Rican pride and criticize colonialism. He explained that touring the continental U.S. with this album would feel contradictory because the country colonized Puerto Rico.

The tour starts on November 21, 2025, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and ends on July 22, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium. It will cover 23 shows across Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

Bad Bunny clarified in a Variety interview that his tour focuses mainly on his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos and is different from tours like Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour,” which mix older hits with new songs. His manager also hinted that there might be a concert film linked to the tour.

The absence of U.S. dates sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans praised the move as a strong political and cultural statement. Others felt disappointed by the exclusion.
