New Avatr factory supports 1,280 personalised vehicle configurations without altering production speed

Avatr Technology has launched a new Smart Digital Factory that uses 5G and artificial intelligence to make car manufacturing faster and smarter. The factory is built with partners Changan Automobile, Huawei, and China Unicom.

This advanced factory connects all tools and production parts through a 5G network. This allows Avatr to track every step in real time, from receiving an order to finishing the vehicle. The factory’s production line is fully automated and produces one car every 60 seconds.

The plant can handle mixed production, making up to 1,280 different vehicle configurations without slowing down. It uses AI-based vision systems to monitor quality at 26 checkpoints and across 73 workstations.

Avatr also announced it will soon release a new flagship SUV, co-developed with Huawei. This model will be a key part of Avatr’s future lineup.

The company plans to launch 17 new models by 2030, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars. Avatr aims to sell 800,000 vehicles worldwide each year.

In 2024, Avatr sold 73,000 vehicles, more than double its 2023 sales. In the first half of 2025, it maintained strong growth, with over 10,000 monthly deliveries for four straight months.

Avatr is expanding globally. In 2024, it entered 25 countries, including Thailand and Dubai. Its cars overseas cost between 500,000 and 700,000 yuan (about $69,800 to $97,700). In July 2025, the company signed new deals with dealers in Jordan and Egypt, and launched the Avatr 11 in Singapore.
