Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama has shared new artwork that gives fans a surprising “happy ending” for the series’ characters. The art shows Eren Jaeger alive and sitting beside the survivors from the anime’s finale, all gathered near the legendary tree that played a key role in the story.
This artwork was released as part of a collaboration between Isayama’s family-run plum orchard and Oyama Yume Kobo to promote a new product called Attack on Titan Plum Wine. Isayama said he drew the piece while thinking about what would “bring the most joy to those who have read Attack on Titan to the end.”
The new illustration comes two years after the Attack on Titan anime ended in 2023, following the conclusion of the manga. Though Isayama has not confirmed any plans for a sequel or spin-off, the new artwork shows that he still enjoys revisiting the world and characters that made the series a global phenomenon.
The franchise continues to thrive through collaborations, special releases, and new projects like Attack on Titan: Bad Boy, a side story exploring Captain Levi’s past. Even without a continuation, the series remains one of the most influential and talked-about anime of all time.
