K-pop group Ateez has reached another milestone, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their 11th EP, Golden Hour: Part. 2.
The album earned 184,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 21, marking their second time topping the chart.
The album’s success came from 179,000 physical album sales, making it the sixth-largest sales debut of 2024. Streaming added 5,000 SEA units, while track equivalent albums (TEA) made up a small portion.
This marks a continued rise for Ateez, who first reached No. 1 in 2023 with The World Ep. Fin: Will.
Golden Hour: Part. 2 is the 26th mostly non-English album to top the Billboard 200, with Ateez joining the ranks of K-pop acts who have achieved the same feat, alongside BTS.
The week also saw K-pop’s growing influence on the Billboard charts, with three albumsโAteez’s, BTS member Jin’s solo debut Happy, and Enhyphen’s Romance: Untoldโin the top 10, a first for the genre.
