Arienne Mandi has been cast as a new series regular on “Chicago P.D.” Season 13, joining the procedural drama following the departure of Toya Turner.
Mandi, known for her lead role as Dani Núñez in “The L Word: Generation Q,” will become part of Sergeant Voight’s Intelligence Unit when the show returns. She recently appeared in Season 2 of Netflix’s “The Night Agent” as Noor Taheri and stars in Guy Nattiv’s film “Tatami,” which premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
The casting follows Turner’s exit from the series after one season playing Officer Kiana Cook. Turner announced her departure via Instagram in June, thanking the cast, crew, and fans for their support during her time on the show.
“My time on Chicago P.D. has come to a close. This show challenged me, sharpened me, and revealed what I’m made of,” Turner wrote. “I’ve evolved through this experience, both as an artist and in my craft, and I’m walking away with depth, clarity, and momentum for whatever comes next.”
Mandi is not entirely new to the Dick Wolf television universe, having appeared in an episode of “FBI” in 2025. She has also joined the cast of Season 2 of Apple TV+’s “Your Friends & Neighbors.”
“Chicago P.D.” is produced by Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment, with Dick Wolf, Gwen Sigan, Chad Saxton, Gavin Harris, Jason Beghe and Peter Jankowski serving as executive producers.
The long-running NBC procedural continues to be a cornerstone of the network’s primetime lineup as part of the “Chicago” franchise.
