Apple is preparing to launch the Apple Watch Ultra 3 in 2025, bringing exciting new features to its premium smartwatch.
The Apple Watch Ultra has seen few upgrades since 2023, but the next model will introduce three key changes.
1. High Blood Pressure Detection
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 will include a feature to detect high blood pressure. It wonโt provide exact blood pressure readings but will alert users if they might have hypertension.
This health feature has been in development for years and is expected to finally launch in 2025.
2. Satellite Messaging Without an iPhone
For adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Ultra 3 will support satellite messaging. Users can send texts via satellites even without Wi-Fi or cellular service.
This feature, already available on iPhones, will make the Ultra 3 a great choice for off-grid activities.
3. 5G Connectivity
The Ultra 3 will include 5G Redcap, a low-power version of 5G. While it wonโt match the speed of iPhone 5G, it will provide faster connectivity without draining the battery.
This upgrade marks the first time 5G will be available on an Apple Watch.
