Apple Unveils New $20 Monthly Plan for Multi-Device Coverage

Apple has announced AppleCare One, a new subscription plan that allows users to protect multiple Apple devices under a single monthly payment. Priced at $19.99 per month, the plan covers up to three Apple products, with each additional device costing $5.99 per month.

AppleCare One offers the same benefits as AppleCare Plus, including battery service, unlimited accidental damage repairs, and 24/7 priority support. Additionally, the plan includes Theft and Loss coverage for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.

A key feature of AppleCare One is its flexibility. Unlike traditional AppleCare Plus plans, which must be purchased within 60 days of buying a device, AppleCare One allows customers to add products that are up to four years old, as long as they are in good condition.

Apple may run diagnostics before approving older devices. However, headphones must be less than one year old to be eligible. The new service will be available for sign-up starting July 24 via the Settings app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or at any Apple Store.

AppleCare One marks another step in Apple’s ongoing push into services, following its successful Apple One bundle. The company recently reported record-breaking services revenue, highlighting the growing importance of subscriptions in Apple’s business model.
