Apple has released watchOS 11.5, a new software update for Apple Watch users. The update brings two new features and a bug fix.
The most noticeable change is the new Pride Harmony watch face. It shows a colorful, abstract version of the Pride flag. It also matches the new Pride wallpapers added in iOS and iPadOS 18.5.
For users with the Apple Watch Series 10, the Pride Harmony face offers something extra. It can show the seconds hand even when the screen is dim, taking advantage of the Series 10’s improved always-on display. This makes it only the fifth watch face to support this feature.
The update also adds a new function: Buy with Apple Watch is now supported when purchasing content in the Apple TV app on third-party devices.
Finally, Apple fixed a bug that sometimes stopped iPhones from showing a notification when the watch was fully charged.
watchOS 11.5 is a smaller update, but a larger release—watchOS 12—is expected next month at WWDC 2025, where Apple is rumored to announce new Apple Intelligence features and design updates.
