Apple has released the third developer betas for tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3, marking a significant update for these two platforms.

The new betas come ahead of other updates in the beta cycle, as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and other platforms remain on their second beta versions.

tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 Beta 3 Details

The third betas for tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 are now available to developers. Public betas were also released around three hours after the developer versions.

These updates bring minor improvements and bug fixes, but no major new features have been highlighted so far.

A Look at Apple’s Beta Cycle

Apple typically releases new betas for all of its platforms at once, but this time only tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 received updates. This leaves iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, macOS Sequoia 15.3, watchOS 11.3, and visionOS 2.3 still on beta 2.

What’s Next for Apple’s Updates

With the release of beta 3 for tvOS and HomePod, the next round of updates for other platforms may not be far behind.

Apple’s x.3 updates are typically feature-light, with last year’s cycle only including three betas plus a release candidate.

As of now, there haven’t been significant changes discovered in the new betas, but users are encouraged to share any findings in the comments. Keep an eye out for further updates as the public launch approaches.
