At CES 2025, Anker introduced its innovative solar-powered beach umbrella, designed to charge electronic devices like phones and coolers while you enjoy the outdoors.
This umbrella is part of Anker’s SOLIX lineup, which includes energy-efficient products such as portable power stations and solar generators meant for home use during power outages.
Anker’s umbrella stands out from other solar-powered beach umbrellas thanks to its use of perovskite solar cells.
These cells offer 30% better performance than traditional crystalline silicon cells in bright light and double the efficiency in low light.
This makes the umbrella not only an eco-friendly addition to your beach gear but also a practical way to power devices while reducing pollution.
The umbrella provides 80 watts of power to portable devices through USB-C and can also power Anker’s EverFrost 2 cooler or other compatible devices using an XT-60 connection.
This feature allows users to enjoy their beach day without worrying about running out of power for their electronics.
Anker has not yet disclosed the cost of the umbrella, but it is expected to hit the market in the spring or summer of 2025.
With its unique solar technology and practical features, it could be a must-have accessory for outdoor enthusiasts.
