Also Reveals First E-Bike With Virtual Drivetrain and Cargo Options

Also, a new startup spun off from electric vehicle maker Rivian, has unveiled its first products: an all-purpose e-bike and two pedal-assisted electric quads.

The TM-B e-bike is designed for commuting, trail riding, and carrying cargo or passengers. It features a modular frame with swappable seats, including a bench seat and a rear cargo rack supporting up to 35 kilograms. The bike uses a removable USB-C battery, offering 60 miles of range in its standard version and up to 100 miles in the larger model.

A key innovation is its “DreamRide” virtual drivetrain. Instead of a direct mechanical link, pedaling charges the battery, which then powers the bike. A “limp mode” allows riders to pedal the bike if the battery runs low. The TM-B also offers regenerative braking and multiple software-controlled ride modes.

The bike comes with a 5-inch touchscreen, called “Portal,” for navigation, music, and calls, alongside customizable handlebar controls and a built-in security system.

Also plans three configurations: a $4,500 Limited Launch Edition, a Performance model, and a base model expected to cost under $4,000. Pre-orders are open for the Limited Launch Edition, with other models reservable for $50.

Also has also introduced two electric, pedal-assisted quads called TM-Q. The smaller TM-Q targets families and individual users, while the larger model is aimed at commercial deliveries.

Also has partnered with Amazon to develop Prime-branded delivery quads. Both are intended for bike lanes. Details on pricing and availability have not been released.

With these new vehicles, Also aims to combine Rivian’s electric vehicle technology with flexible urban and cargo transport options.
