BMX rider Nigel Sylvester is teaming up once again with Jordan Brand—this time for a clean and premium version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, named the “Nitro.” The sneakers are expected to release in August 2025 with a retail price of $150.
The new Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Nitro” features a black tumbled leather upper, cream-colored Swooshes and laces, and a red outsole for added contrast. A sail midsole adds a vintage touch, while exposed stitching and mini Swoosh branding on the toe offer more detailed craftsmanship.
Inside the shoe, the insole reads “Jordan Biking Co. Est. 2017,” a personal reference to Sylvester’s BMX roots. The tongue includes red Nike Air branding, tying the color elements together in a subtle but effective way.
This release follows Sylvester’s successful 2018 collab on the distressed Air Jordan 1 High, which became a lifestyle favorite. Now, the “Nitro” looks to carry that legacy forward with a more polished, versatile design.
