Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has announced her new album called ‘MEGAN’ will be released on June 28th. She shared the news during a recent concert in Atlanta.

This will be Megan’s third studio album, following 2022’s ‘Traumazine’. But it’s her first album since becoming an independent artist and launching her own label Hot Girl Productions.

The album cover shows Megan wrapped up like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon. She says the snake imagery represents rebirth and shedding her past.

Singles released so far include “Cobra,” “Hiss” and “Boa.” The song “Hiss” became Megan’s first solo number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Megan says ‘MEGAN’ will capture many emotions beyond just anger, including happiness over her personal growth.

As an independent artist, Megan now owns all her master recordings and has full creative control. She has a distribution deal with Warner Music Group.

With ‘MEGAN,’ the rapper is establishing herself as a major music force on her own terms. Fans are eagerly awaiting the highly personal album’s arrival next month.
