Apple has rolled out iOS 26.4, and the update brings five new features to the Apple Music app.
One of the biggest additions is Playlist Playground. This new tool uses Apple Intelligence to build a playlist from a text prompt. Users can type what kind of music they want, and Apple Music will create a playlist to match.
Apple has also changed the look of albums and playlists. In iOS 26.4, the artwork now shapes the full screen design, so the background and other parts of the app match the colors of the cover image.
Another new feature is the Ambient Music widget. This lets users start music for moods like Chill, Productivity, Sleep, and Wellbeing straight from the Home Screen.
The update also makes playlist management easier. Users can now add a song to multiple playlists at once, which saves time for people who sort tracks into different collections.
Apple has also added concert info directly into the Music app. Artist pages now show upcoming shows, along with venue details, start times, and links to buy tickets.
The update is available now as part of iOS 26.4. Apple Music starts at $10.99 per month, and it is also included in the Apple One bundle.
