Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, nicknamed the “Lolita Express,” has been left to rot for the past ten years at a Georgia airfield.
The Boeing 727 was once fitted with a bedroom, kitchen, two bathrooms, and three sitting areas. Now, it is overrun with insects, mildew, and decay.
Reporter Georgia Worrell recently explored the jet and described a “nose-curdling musty stench” inside. She found dirty towels, mouldy toiletries, used toothbrushes, baby powder, and other abandoned items scattered across the plane.
In the bedroom, the duvet has been infested with bugs, and a pair of glasses and a disassembled satellite phone were left on the nightstand. Seating areas feature red crushed velvet and mirrored walls, but the luxury has faded with time.
The plane, almost 60 years old, had its three engines removed in 2016. Experts say it will never fly again. The yard owner revealed the jet was meant to be scrapped, though this never happened.
Epstein, who took his own life in 2019, was accused of using the plane to traffic young victims. Files released recently suggest the jet made dozens of flights to UK airports, including Stansted, with some trips allegedly involving girls from Eastern Europe.
UK police are now investigating these flights as part of ongoing inquiries into Epstein’s network and his associates, including Ghislaine Maxwell.
The abandoned “Lolita Express” now stands as a grim relic of Epstein’s crimes, a decaying monument to a dark chapter in modern history.
