Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to get expanded support for mods thanks to a new platform from Rockstar Games. The company behind GTA and Red Dead has launched the Cfx Marketplace, which lets creators upload mods for games like Red Dead 2 and GTA 6 and get paid for their work.

The marketplace includes content from well-known modders, such as Razed Mods and NTeam Development. Server owners will also be able to discover new assets, scripts, and other creations to enhance gameplay.

While this doesn’t add official missions or stories to Red Dead 2, it makes creating and using mods much easier. Fans can expect new player-created content, such as custom missions, events, and other additions.

The Cfx Marketplace is live now, with more features and content rolling out in the coming months. This move is expected to breathe new life into Red Dead 2 and keep the community active while Rockstar focuses on future projects, including GTA 6.

For now, the platform is primarily for PC players, and it remains unclear if similar support will come to consoles.
