Xiaomi is preparing to launch more than seven new products ahead of China’s Spring Festival, according to a well-known industry leaker.

Digital blogger Digital Chat Station says the Chinese technology firm plans to unveil a wide range of devices, including flagship and mid-range smartphones, wearables, audio products and smart home equipment.

At the centre of the launch cycle is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the company’s next high-end smartphone. The device is expected to be announced as early as next week, with a wider release planned later this month. It is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and focus heavily on camera performance.

Reports suggest the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a 1-inch Leica-branded main camera, likely using an OmniVision OV50X sensor. It is also expected to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

Xiaomi is also set to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup. The Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to be the first phone to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chip, while the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is reported to feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500e processor.

Wearable devices are also part of the planned launches. A new Xiaomi smartwatch is said to run Android with the company’s HyperOS and come with a 930mAh battery. It is expected to support eSIM through a dedicated chip, allowing it to operate independently without being connected to a smartphone.

In addition, Xiaomi is reportedly preparing two new pairs of wireless earbuds, a mid-range tablet and several Internet of Things devices. However, details about these products have not yet been revealed.

It remains unclear whether Xiaomi will announce all of these devices at a single event or spread them across multiple launches. Industry watchers expect the Xiaomi 17 Ultra to have its own dedicated launch, with some of the other products possibly debuting at the same time.
