French DJ and producer David Guetta has been voted the World’s No.1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2025 poll, announced on Wednesday night at an awards show in Ibiza.
The win marks his fifth time receiving the title, placing him alongside Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren as the only artists to achieve this milestone. Guetta first topped the poll in 2011 and later reclaimed the crown in 2020, 2021, and 2023.
Now over 40 years into his career, Guetta continues to release music at a rapid pace, averaging more than a single a month in 2025. His projects this year have included collaborations with Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Hugel, and Fatboy Slim, as well as new music with longtime partner Sia. He also launched his “Galactic Circus” residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza and toured internationally with his large-scale “The Monolith” show.
Speaking after his win, Guetta said:
“To win Top 100 DJs again, for a joint-record fifth time, is an honour. It means a lot to me because the greatest feeling in my life is playing new music for people and seeing their reactions. I still make music every single day, because I see it as a hobby and a passion.”

Charity fundraiser
As part of the celebrations, DJ Mag partnered with Bridges for Music, a South African non-profit that provides music education, mental health support and entrepreneurship training. The campaign raised £149,442, enough to support 134 students at the Bridges for Music Academy in Langa township.
The 2025 awards were hosted at the newly opened [UNVRS] Ibiza, the first time the No.1 DJ was crowned live in the clubbing capital. Alongside Guetta’s headline performance, the event featured sets from Armin van Buuren, Miss Monique, Boris Brejcha, Indira Paganotto and Jazzy.
