Alice in Borderland Season 3 is now available to stream on Netflix, three years after the release of its second season. All episodes have been released at once, allowing fans to watch the entire season without waiting for weekly updates.
The Japanese science-fiction thriller is based on Haro Aso’s manga and directed by Shinsuke Sato. The story follows Ryōhei Arisu, a young gamer trapped in a deserted Tokyo where he and his friends must compete in deadly games to survive. Failure to play or win means instant death by a mysterious laser.
Season 3 continues Arisu’s struggle to escape the dangerous world of Borderland after briefly breaking free in the previous season. Netflix teased the new season on social media with the message: “Arisu escaped Borderland once. It’s time to brave the games once again.”
The cast includes Kento Yamazaki as Arisu, Tao Tsuchiya as Yuzuha Usagi, and Nijirō Murakami as Shuntarō Chishiya, along with returning and new characters. The series is written by Yoshiki Watabe, Shinsuke Sato, and Yasuko Kuramitsu, with production by Robot Communications.
The first two seasons of Alice in Borderland gained international acclaim for their high-stakes action and psychological tension. Fans can now stream all of Season 3 on Netflix worldwide.
