Dua Lipa Ends Ties With Agent Amid Glastonbury Palestine Dispute

Dua Lipa

Pop star Dua Lipa has cut ties with her agent, David Levy, after he signed a letter urging Glastonbury Festival to cancel a performance by Irish rap group KNEECAP.

The letter, sent to festival founder Michael Eavis, opposed KNEECAP’s appearance because of the group’s vocal support for Palestine. According to The Daily Mail, Lipa viewed Levy’s action as an endorsement of Israel’s war in Gaza and the mistreatment of Palestinians.

KNEECAP, known for their politically charged lyrics, went ahead with their performance at Glastonbury despite the controversy. Lipa, who has publicly backed humanitarian causes, decided to end her professional relationship with Levy following the incident.

Neither Lipa nor Levy has commented publicly on the split. The move has sparked debate among fans and activists, with some praising Lipa’s decision and others questioning the role of politics in music and entertainment.
