A new memecoin project called Solfart has drawn significant attention in the cryptocurrency community, with its presale reportedly outpacing the early buzz of popular tokens BONK and PENGU.
The project was launched last week by a former marketing head of a top 20 cryptocurrency, who now goes by the pseudonym “Mark Zuckerfart,” alongside another industry veteran known as “Fart McSatoshi.”
The pair have positioned Solfart as a satirical yet serious contender in the memecoin space, with a focus on humour-driven marketing and unique tokenomics.
According to the team, the goal is to raise a $6m liquidity pool for the SOLF token, which they believe could help secure listings on major platforms like CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. This starting amount would exceed the launch liquidity of BONK in 2023, which quickly reached a market value of more than $500m.
Solfart’s marketing has been a key driver of its early traction, combining offbeat branding with community engagement. Within its first week, the project raised nearly $50,000 through crowdsourcing and averaged over one million tokens sold daily. The team has also launched “Fartchan,” an online forum for discussion and community building.
While analysts note that Solfart’s long-term prospects remain uncertain, its rapid early growth and unconventional approach have led some to compare it to past breakout memecoins. No exchange listing date has been confirmed, but interest in the presale remains high.
