In the game Grow a Garden, players can now cook food using fruits and a Cooking Pot found in the center of the lobby. This new cooking feature is part of a special event and introduces “food items” that unlock rare rewards.
To cook, players gather fruits and combine them to make items like soup, salad, sandwiches, burgers, waffles, and more. Each food has a unique recipe, and players must use specific ingredients to make the best version. Using rare fruits gives a higher rarity food, which earns better rewards.
Once cooked, food can be given to the Pig NPC named Chris P. He has cravings that change every hour. If you give him the food he wants, you’ll have a better chance at receiving rare items.
How to Cook Food:
- Go to the Cooking Pot in the lobby.
- Hold the required fruit and press E to add it.
- Click Cook to start the timer.
- When it’s done, press E again to collect the food.
How to Feed Chris P (the Pig NPC):
- Look at his speech bubble to see his craving.
- Hold the food item he wants.
- Press E and select “Try this food I cooked up!”
Rewards You Can Get:
- Common: Sheckles, Watering Can, Fork Fence
- Uncommon: Food Crate, Corn Seeds
- Rare: Gourmet Seed Pack, Artichoke
- Legendary: Gourmet Egg, Mutation Spray
- Mythical: Pretzel Cart, Gourmet Seed Pack
- Divine: Fried Spray, Pet Shard, Divine Food Crate
- Prismatic: Pancake Stack, Prismatic Gourmet Egg
Each reward depends on the rarity of the food you submit.
Players can try different fruit combinations to unlock Prismatic or Divine recipes. The full list of recipes includes waffles, burgers, sushi, ice cream, and more—each with several ingredient combinations.
This cooking event is ongoing, and more recipes will be added soon based on community feedback.
