Apple Sues Apple Cinemas for Alleged Copyright Infringement

Apple Cinemas

Apple Inc., the well-known technology company, is suing Apple Cinemas, a movie theater chain, for copyright infringement.

Apple claims that Apple Cinemas is using the “Apple” name to create confusion and gain an unfair advantage.

The lawsuit alleges that the theater chain intentionally used the Apple name to benefit from Apple Inc.’s reputation.

Apple Cinemas has not yet responded to the lawsuit. The theater chain has locations including one at the Warwick Mall, which is mentioned in the complaint.

They also recently opened a new theater in San Francisco, where Apple Inc. is headquartered.
