BTS member Jungkook has become the first Asian solo artist to achieve 100 million streams on every original track on Spotify, according to the World Music Awards.

The 27-year-old South Korean singer reached the milestone with all 18 original songs registered under his Spotify profile, excluding remixes. This places him among only three artists worldwide to accomplish this feat, alongside Billie Eilish and Harry Styles.

Jungkook’s most popular track, “Seven” (2023), has accumulated 2.4 billion streams as of July 21. His song “Standing Next to You” (2023) follows with 1.2 billion streams, while his collaboration with Charlie Puth, “Left and Right” (2022), has garnered over 1.1 billion streams.

“Seven” holds multiple records on the platform, including the fastest accumulation of streams and the highest number ever achieved by an Asian artist on Spotify, which was founded in 2006.

The achievement adds to Jungkook’s growing list of solo accomplishments. In 2023, Guinness World Records recognised him as the fastest artist in history to reach 1 billion Spotify streams, achieving this in just 409 days with only three solo tracks.

Jungkook’s total Spotify streams have now surpassed 9.2 billion, making him both the fastest Asian act to reach that milestone and the first K-pop soloist to do so.

The singer completed his mandatory South Korean military service on June 11 and is preparing for BTS’s full group comeback. Earlier this month, the band announced plans for a new album and world tour, targeting a spring 2026 release.

BTS, one of the world’s most successful K-pop groups, has been on hiatus while members complete their required military service. Jungkook’s solo success during this period demonstrates the continued global appeal of K-pop and BTS members’ individual artistry.
