Netflix has confirmed that its popular series Queer Eye will conclude with its upcoming 10th season.
Production on the final season officially started on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., where the Fab Five will bring one last round of heartfelt transformations and makeovers.
The streaming giant shared a photo of the Fab Five—Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jeremiah Brent, and Karamo Brown—standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, with the caption: “10 seasons. fab five. one last go ‘round. The final season of QUEER EYE is officially in production!”
Jonathan Van Ness posted pictures from the first day of filming on Instagram, writing, “Season 10, the final season. We are so excited to bring this season to you, and excited for what’s next.”
Tan France also shared a message reflecting on the journey, saying, “First day of the FINAL season of Queer Eye. It’s been a long, beautiful journey we’ve been on, and I truly appreciate all of the love and support for our little show, that changed my life in ways I never thought possible. As we begin our farewell season here in D.C., I simply want to say thank you! Thank you!!!!!”
Queer Eye is Netflix’s longest-running unscripted series. It has won 11 Emmy Awards, including six consecutive wins in the Outstanding Structured Reality Program category—a record in that category.
