Ghislaine Maxwell Pushes for Retrial as FBI Denies Epstein ‘Client List’

Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for child sex trafficking, is making a final push to secure a retrial after the FBI officially denied the existence of Jeffrey Epstein’s rumored ‘client list.’

Maxwell, 63, was convicted in 2021 of helping Epstein recruit and abuse underage girls. She is the only associate of Epstein to face prosecution so far.

The case has returned to headlines following a new statement from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. Last week, the FBI said there is no ‘client list’ of powerful individuals linked to Epstein’s crimes, contradicting years of speculation and conspiracy theories.

The agency also released footage confirming Epstein’s death was a suicide, addressing long-standing doubts about the circumstances of his death in custody in 2019.

According to reports from the Mail Online, Maxwell is now appealing to the US Supreme Court, describing the current situation as a “do or die” moment. A Department of Justice source said, “Ghislaine believes she has multiple grounds for appeal.”

Maxwell’s legal team claims she is protected by a 2008 non-prosecution agreement made between Epstein and the US government. This argument has been rejected by lower courts in the past, but her team is trying again, hoping the Supreme Court will hear the case.

The Mail Online also reported that Maxwell’s lawyers may seek support from the Trump administration, with Solicitor General John Sauer requesting additional time to review her appeal.

The Rumored ‘Client List’

For years, online speculation has suggested Epstein kept a secret list of wealthy and powerful individuals he trafficked girls to. However, the FBI has now officially stated that no such list exists.

In a memo, the FBI said: “This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list’. There was also no evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

The statement has raised questions about previous promises from the US government to release all Epstein-related files.

As of now, Ghislaine Maxwell remains the only person from Epstein’s inner circle to face prosecution.
