Kid Cudi - FREE Album Cover

Kid Cudi has unveiled the cover art for his upcoming album FREE, which is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025.

The striking image, captured by photographer Norman Jean Roy, shows Cudi leaping into the clouds, symbolizing the album’s central theme of freedom.

Sharing the cover on Instagram, Kid Cudi explained that the concept was inspired by the film The Truman Show and reflects a feeling of liberation.

FREE will be available on all streaming platforms. The album’s second single, “Grave,” is set to drop on July 11 along with a music video directed by Samuel Bayer.

This follows the lead single “Neverland,” which was released earlier this year with an accompanying short film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Kid Cudi described FREE as a pop album infused with his unique style, signaling a new creative direction.

The project marks a fresh chapter for the artist, coming after a difficult period that included injuries and personal challenges.
