Lizzo is celebrating her weight loss and addressing rumors in a new Instagram post. On Thursday, the Grammy winner shared before-and-after photos of herself at a lymphatic massage center, showing visible changes over the past few months.
“In light of all these magazines and blogs wanting me to be on ozempic soooo bad — here’s the truth!” Lizzo wrote in her caption. She explained that her transformation is the result of consistent hard work and healthy changes.
Her routine includes training three times a week, daily sauna and cardio sessions, eating animal protein, meal prepping with help from a chef, maintaining a calorie deficit, and cutting out sugary drinks and snacks.
Lizzo also shared that she plays pickleball, hikes, walks on the beach, dances, drinks water, goes on monthly detoxes, and receives specialized body treatments like wood therapy and lymphatic massage. She revealed that she quit drinking alcohol for a long time but now allows herself to enjoy it again.
“I’m so happy and proud of what I’ve done, and no one can take that away from me,” Lizzo wrote.
The singer has talked openly about her fitness journey in the past. She recently told Women’s Health that back pain inspired her to focus on her health. Lizzo prefers to call her process a “weight-release journey” and encourages self-acceptance, no matter how bodies change.
Lizzo’s new album, Love in Real Life, is set to release later this year.
