French Montana Walks Out of Interview After Asking About Drake & Rick Ross Feud

Rick Ross, Drake, French Montana

French Montana abruptly ended a recent interview after being asked about Drake and Rick Ross’ ongoing feud.

The rapper appeared on The Sited Show with host Rah Ali, where things took a turn when Ali asked about the tension between Drake and Ross.

Instead of answering, French Montana stood up and said, “I’ll be right back. I double-parked my car outside.” He then left the room and did not return. The cameras continued rolling as his team also exited the building.

All three artists — French Montana, Drake, and Rick Ross — famously worked together on the 2012 hit “Stay Schemin.” But French made it clear he didn’t want to speak on their recent drama.

Fans on social media had mixed reactions to the viral moment. Some said he was being dramatic, while others felt he had the right to avoid uncomfortable topics. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Kinda childish, but I get it… People have their reasons for avoiding certain subjects.”

The Drake-Ross feud started in 2024 and included diss tracks and public jabs. Rick Ross recently teased a collaboration with Pharrell, another artist who has had tension with Drake.

Earlier in the same interview, French also refused to talk about his personal life. “I’ll skip that,” he said. “I just want to keep my private life private.”

So far, French Montana has not commented further on the walkout.
