Pusha T has started a new chapter in his long list of rap feuds, this time aiming at Travis Scott. In Clipse’s new single “So Be It,” Pusha T claims he has a video of Travis Scott breaking down after his breakup with Kylie Jenner.
In his verse, Pusha raps, “You cried in front of me, you died in front of me. Calabasas took your b*tch and your pride in front of me. I got the video I can share and AE it, I can’t unsee it, lucky I ain’t TMZ it.”
The diss is a clear shot at Travis Scott’s personal life. The line about Calabasas points to Kylie Jenner’s home, making it even more personal.
The tension between the rappers reportedly started when Travis Scott played his Utopia album for Pusha T, Malice, and Pharrell Williams, but cut out Drake’s verse from the track “Meltdown.” That verse had dissed Pharrell, a close friend of Pusha T. Pusha later said Travis shows loyalty only when it benefits him.
This isn’t the only drama Pusha T is stirring. He also takes aim at Kanye West on the upcoming Clipse album Let God Sort ‘Em Out, dropping July 11.
With this latest diss, Pusha T has mixed personal attacks with music industry rivalries, heating up the drama just weeks before his album release.
Whether or not he releases the video, the threat alone has set hip-hop fans buzzing.
