Still No Fallout 5? Fans Roast Bethesda for the Long Wait

Fans are roasting Bethesda over the long wait for Fallout 5, and many think it’s gone too far. Bethesda has not even officially announced the game yet, and there’s not even a trailer.

Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda, has only said that Fallout 5 will happen “one day.” But no one knows when that will be.

The real problem is that Fallout 5 is expected after The Elder Scrolls VI, which itself has no release date or gameplay yet. Bethesda first teased The Elder Scrolls VI back in 2018, but since then, fans have seen nothing.

With The Elder Scrolls VI likely still years away, many believe Fallout 5 might not arrive until 2029 or later.

Fans on social media are now joking about the long wait. One comment said, “I hope my grandson likes Fallout 5,” while another joked about playing the game on future consoles far from today’s technology.

Some players are still hopeful. One fan said they don’t mind waiting if the final game is worth it. But for most fans, the silence feels frustrating.

For now, players will have to stick with Fallout 4 or Fallout 76 as they wait. Bethesda has not given any official update, but fans are hoping that will change soon.
