New Sabrina Carpenter Album ‘Man’s Best Friend’ Set for August Release

Sabrina Carpenter — Mans Best Friend

Sabrina Carpenter has officially announced her seventh studio album Man’s Best Friend. The pop star shared the news on Instagram on June 11, telling fans that the album will be released on August 29, 2025.

“My new album, Man’s Best Friend, is out on August 29. I can’t wait for it to be yours,” Carpenter, 26, wrote alongside the album’s cover. The cover shows her wearing a black mini dress and heels, with a man’s hand pulling on her hair.

This new album follows Short n’ Sweet, which came out last year and reached No. 1 on the charts.

The lead single from Man’s Best Friend, titled Manchild,” was released earlier this month on June 5. Carpenter wrote the song with hit producers Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen. She described it as “the best random Tuesday of my life,” referring to the day they wrote the track.

Carpenter says “Manchild” represents the fun and confusion of young adult life. “It sounds like a loving eye roll,” she wrote, encouraging fans to blast the song all summer long.

While Carpenter didn’t mention any specific exes, many fans believe the song might reference her past relationships. Recently, she was linked to actor Barry Keoghan, but the pair reportedly took a break in late 2024 to focus on their careers.

Fans can now pre-order Man’s Best Friend ahead of its August release.
