Xiaomi plans to start the stable rollout of HyperOS 2.3, based on Android 16, in July 2025. The company is speeding up development to bring this new software to its eligible devices soon.
Currently, Xiaomi is testing HyperOS 2.3 on its flagship Xiaomi 15 smartphone in both China and global markets.
The stable release may follow after about two months of testing. Other Xiaomi models are still focused on the HyperOS 2.2 update but will begin testing HyperOS 2.3 soon.
HyperOS 2.3 is expected to bring enhanced privacy controls, improved system performance, better battery optimization, and fresh user interface updates including new animations.
The update will also feature an advanced notification management system.
This new version aims to improve security and user experience across Xiaomi devices.
