King of the Hill is officially returning with Season 14 premiering August 4 on Hulu, and fans are getting their first look at the new credits sequence, complete with the classic theme song by The Refreshments.
Hank Hill returns from Saudi Arabia, where he’s spent the last few years selling propane and propane accessories at a corporate compound designed to mimic small-town America. Now back in Arlen, Hank finds himself in a country that’s changed dramatically in his absence — giving him even more to grumble about.
Meanwhile, Bobby Hill is now an adult, though still voiced by Pamela Adlon with his familiar tone, and Dale Gribble is running for mayor, with his once-fringe beliefs having become strangely mainstream.
What to Expect:
- Hank’s worldview is now out of step with modern America, as the “middle” ground he used to represent has shifted.

Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, along with new showrunner Saladin K. Patterson, emphasize that the show remains rooted in character and culture, not political commentary. “It’s about these characters who live around this alley,” Daniels says.
