This pattern isn’t just speculation. Professional private investigator Cassie Crofts, who runs Venus Investigations in Australia, confirmed that suspicious behavior like sudden secrecy or unprovoked accusations often signals cheating.
Speaking with UNILAD, Crofts explained how her team investigates suspected infidelity, starting with unusual timelines—like surprise business trips or odd working hours—and then tracking patterns.
“Sometimes we don’t find anything for a few days and the client calls it off. But in many cases, those suspicions turn out to be right,” she said.
So if your partner is constantly accusing you without cause, it might not just be insecurity—it could be a sign they’re hiding something themselves.
