Jennifer Lopez opened the 2025 American Music Awards with a bold, high-energy performance that quickly became the talk of the night. At 55, J. Lo showed off her stamina and stage power in a six-minute medley that featured 23 of the past year’s biggest hits.

Wearing a shimmering nude bodysuit, Lopez performed songs by artists like Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and herself — including her hit “Dance Again.” Her act included sharp choreography, laser lights, and fireworks, making it one of the most visually stunning moments of the night.

One moment stood out above all: Lopez kissed several backup dancers on stage, including both men and women. The bold move sparked a flood of reactions on social media. Actress Tiffany Haddish even joked about J. Lo’s single status following her recent divorce from Ben Affleck.

Lopez had reportedly suffered a nose injury during rehearsals but still delivered her performance without missing a beat. After finishing the medley, she seamlessly moved into her role as the host for the rest of the show.

Jennifer Lopez’s performance and hosting were clear highlights of the night, proving again why she remains a force in entertainment.
