Diddy Spends Memorial Day in Jail with Board Games and BBQ

Sean “Diddy” Combs spent Memorial Day behind bars instead of at a luxury party. The 55-year-old rapper is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while facing serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty.

In past years, Diddy was known for celebrating Memorial Day on yachts with champagne and celebrities. But this year was very different.

According to TMZ, Diddy and other inmates spent the day playing basketball, dominoes, spades, and board games. The jail also provided a special BBQ meal, including BBQ chicken, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, and dessert. Dinner included chicken and rice, beans, corn, and whole wheat bread.

This quiet celebration is a major change from Diddy’s usual lavish lifestyle.

The case against Diddy is ongoing. In court, witnesses have shared disturbing stories. Last week, singer Dawn Richard, once part of Danity Kane, testified about abuse she says she saw between Diddy and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Richard said, “He would drag her and kick her and punch her in the mouth,” adding that it happened when Ventura tried to stand up for herself.

Diddy’s trial continues as he denies all wrongdoing.
