Apple has increased the cost of its iCloud+ storage plans in Brazil, Chile, and Peru, according to an updated support document released last week. The price hikes affect all storage tiers, from the basic 50GB to the highest 12TB plan.

In Brazil, the 50GB plan rose from R$4.90 to R$5.90, while the 2TB plan jumped from R$49.90 to R$66.90.

In Chile, the 50GB plan now costs $990, up from $790, and the 2TB plan increased from $8,490 to $10,990.

In Peru, the 50GB plan moved from S/. 2.90 to S/. 3.90, and the 2TB plan went from S/. 34.90 to S/. 42.90.

These changes follow a broader trend. In 2024, Apple already raised iCloud+ prices in over 10 other countries, including Japan, South Korea, Turkey, and Nigeria.

So far, the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. have not seen iCloud+ price increases.

Apple has not provided a reason for the price hikes, but they may reflect local economic conditions or currency adjustments.
