Kanye West’s latest song, Heil Hitler, has sparked outrage and controversy after its release on Thursday.

The song, which promotes alarming antisemitic rhetoric, quickly gained millions of streams on X, despite being removed from major streaming platforms like Spotify and Soundcloud.

The song’s title and artwork, which resemble a swastika, have drawn sharp criticism from advocacy groups and sparked concerns about the continued spread of hate speech online.

Kanye’s X account has faced deactivation in the past for similar remarks, including a February post where he declared, “I’m a Nazi,” and praised Adolf Hitler.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) launched a petition calling for stronger guidelines on social media platforms to curb the spread of hate and disinformation.

Although the song has been banned by platforms such as Spotify, it continues to be shared widely on X, where West’s controversial views remain a hot topic.

This incident follows a pattern of antisemitic comments made by West in recent years, including a notorious rant in 2022.

Despite his apology in 2023, his recent actions and the viral spread of Heil Hitler have reignited concerns about his influence and the responsibility of social media platforms in regulating harmful content.

West’s behavior, amplified by his personal platform, raises critical questions about the limits of free speech and the challenges of combating hate speech on social media.
