Blackpink fans were excited to see Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé attend the 2025 Met Gala in New York City. However, one member was missing—Jisoo.
While the other three members walked the red carpet, Jisoo stayed away from the big event.
Jisoo missed the Met Gala for a good reason. She just finished filming her upcoming Netflix K-drama Boyfriend on Demand.
Photos of her at the wrap party appeared on social media on May 2, just days before the Gala.
This year marked Lisa’s first time at the Met Gala. Jennie made her debut in 2023 and returned in 2024. Rosé was the first member to attend in 2021.
Although Jisoo did not attend, she has stayed active with her own projects. All four members also joined together at Coachella this year. Jennie and Lisa performed as solo artists at the festival.
The group is not slowing down. Blackpink will start a world tour this July. The members have confirmed they are working on new music and planning a strong comeback. Jisoo said they are excited to return as a group after focusing on solo work in 2024.
