Call Her Alex ― When and Where to Watch the Alex Cooper Docuseries Online

Call Her Alex, a powerful new two-part docuseries, is all set to stream on Hulu in the U.S. and JioCinema/Hotstar in India starting June 10, 2025.

For international viewers, the series will also be available on Disney+, giving fans worldwide a chance to witness the untold story of podcast sensation Alex Cooper.

Before its digital premiere, Call Her Alex will have its official debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8, adding to the anticipation.

What Is ‘Call Her Alex’ About?

Best known for her hit podcast Call Her Daddy, Alex Cooper now turns the spotlight on her own life. This docuseries traces her transformation from a shy, self-conscious girl in Pennsylvania to a bold, unfiltered media icon and CEO.

It explores her struggles, insecurities, big breaks, and bold decisions that made her one of the most powerful voices in modern podcasting.

Alex describes it as “the raw, the messy, the personal stuff I’ve never felt comfortable sharing until now.” The series promises to be honest, emotional, and inspiring.

Who’s Behind the Project?

Directed by Ry Russo-Young (Nuclear Family), the docuseries is produced by Unwell Productions, Alex’s own company.

It’s executive produced by Braden Bochner, Christopher Foss, and Ry Russo-Young, with Holly Siegel as the producer. The show is brought to Hulu by Lionsgate in partnership with Unwell.

Alex Cooper’s Rise to Fame

Launched in 2018 under Barstool Sports, Call Her Daddy quickly became one of the most popular podcasts in the world. After moving to Spotify in a record-breaking deal, Alex signed a $125 million multi-year deal with SiriusXM in 2024.

She’s now expanding into reality TV, with a dating show called Overboard for Love also coming soon to Hulu.
