In a stunning moment during Coldplay’s concert in Seoul, ROSÉ of BLACKPINK surprised fans with a special guest appearance on stage. On April 22, 2025, at Goyang Stadium, the K-pop star performed her hit single “APT.” alongside Coldplay, delighting the crowd with her powerful vocals.
Clad in a sparkly silver jacket, ROSÉ joined Coldplay on the catwalk, energetically singing the catchy lyrics of “APT.” The song, which features Bruno Mars on the studio version, had its second verse taken over by Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin.
Martin rapped the lines, “It’s whatever, it’s whatever, it’s whatever you like,” while ROSÉ beamed and the audience sang along. “APT.” was released in October 2024 as part of ROSÉ’s debut studio album, Rosie.
The track quickly became a chart-topping success, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominating the Billboard Global 200 for 12 weeks. ROSÉ’s collaboration with Coldplay marks another milestone in her career as a solo artist, following BLACKPINK’s hiatus.
Tuesday’s performance was the fourth of six scheduled shows Coldplay will play at Goyang Stadium as part of their Music of the Spheres tour.
The band has already teamed up with the girl group TWICE, who is opening for them during their South Korea concerts. Together, they performed a special version of “We Pray,” which was later released on streaming platforms.
