Young Thug has announced that his new album UY Scuti will arrive in May 2025. This will be his first full-length release since leaving jail in late 2024.
Thug first teased the album with a billboard near Coachella that read, “UNIVERSE HAS BEEN TOO QUIET. UNTIL NOW. UY SCUTI,” with the word “May” at the bottom.
While the exact date is still unknown, many fans believe it may release on May 9, which would mark three years since Thug was arrested on RICO charges in 2022.
On April 16, Thug launched the official UY Scuti website. There, fans can pre-order the album on digital platforms, CD, or vinyl. He also released new merch bundles, some of which feature his lawyer Brian Steel, who defended him in court.
UY Scuti will be Young Thug’s fourth studio album. His last project, Business Is Business, came out in 2023 while he was still behind bars. The new album is rumored to feature 21 Savage and include production by Metro Boomin.
Fans are now waiting to see if the album drops early or sticks to the May timeline.
